What is the difference between Groups and Teams? Follow
Teams
To join the main event, Destination Go challenge, you will need to join a team. You compete with coworkers to see who can get the most steps while trekking across the globe.
When you activate your Go Challenges account for the first time, you will be asked to join the 9-week activity challenge Destination GO. It’s the main event! You join a team with your coworkers—and then compete with other teams in your company to get active.
To join a challenge, please navigate to Social > Challenges > Destination GO.
Click Join Challenge.
Once there, join a team to join the challenge. You can create your own team or join an existing one.
Social Groups
Getting healthier and learning something new is easier with friends. Join a group to stay motivated, chat with others, and achieve goals together. Groups are a great way to communicate with other members in your community on topics in which you are all interested! Please note, the ability to add Groups must be offered by your sponsor in order to be able to access them.
To create or join a Group, please navigate to:
1. Social > Groups.
2. Once there, click Create a Group if you want to create a new group or select Browse Groups to find and join a public group.
If someone has invited you to join their group, you should be able to find your invitation in Group Invites.
